The 9 Best Restaurants in Oceanside, Ranked

06Oceanside is the county's last beach town — Camp Pendleton seals the coast beyond it — and its food story now outruns its surf story: two tasting-menu rooms, a Bib Gourmand behind a garage door, and a South O breakfast line that earns itself, all strung along one highway. The pier lost its far end to the 2024 fire and stayed open anyway. Walk it at golden hour, eat in South O, and let the Coaster do the driving.
